Demo and Early Access Updates for April 2022

Hello!

Sorry we've been fairly quiet recently. We haven't had many big announcements or changes to share, and have mostly been plugging along on the game, trying to get it as close to finished as possible. With that in mind, we have an announcement early next month that we think people will be very excited about that lets everyone put a mark on the game.

But before that, let's show you what to expect from this month's update!

New Writing - Improved Intro!

With the main game story complete, we have the time to go back and improve some of the existing narrative. As you might surmise, the intro was the first thing we wrote, meaning it's the most out of line with the current caliber of writing. Based on that and some feedback we got about the pacing in the game's first few days, we went back and trimmed a lot of extraneous exposition and got players to the TF action much quicker. Around 10-20 percent of the word count got shaved off the first couple of in-game days as a matter of fact. 

On top of that we've gone in and updated the backgrounds of a few CGs and changed the writing to better match them. Overall, it's the best time yet for new players to be introduced to the game, so feel free to share the demo with anyone who you might think will enjoy it!

New CGs - Five New CGs from UBF and TFM

UltraBondageFairy has treated us to the fully complete version of the Julie and Margaret cuddling scene that really amps up the fluffiness. So much, in fact, that she's also improved the proceeding CG to make it a bit more fluffy too. It's a very sweet scene that shows of the beauty of both characters and is a great addition to the game.

In addition, the Transformistress has continued her blistering art pace by providing us with four new CGs for this month! The first is Sylvia's Magic Act CG that appears early on in her path, but we've also added a variation that now appears in her alternate path as well. Next we have the CG that accompanies the Camgirl ending that splits off from the start of the Julie route. This one was actually a joint collaboration between KD and TFM that meshes together beautifully, we think. Also completed is the CG of Margaret's train ride from the Gavin path.  But the one we wanted to highlight here is the scene that appears about a third of the way through the Felicia route where she helps Margaret understand how beautiful she is. It's very romantic scene and very sexy on top of that, and we hope you'll enjoy it.

Sprite Work - Arms for Gavin and Sylvia and other improvements

As players know already, there are two forms of Sylvia in her route (not even counting her various anthro transformations and their stages) but until now her secondary "Honey Peach" form only had one arm pose. That was way out of line with the rest of the expressions available to other characters, so we added a few more for her to make her less static. You can play through her route to see the poses in action.  

There's a couple more improvements like giving Margaret a chest tuft when she's a mouse in her pajamas, but as for Gavin's arms, well, I'll just let KD's Trello card speak for us:

New Backgrounds - Cafe, Stockroom, Arcade, and Alley

With this huge background update from Heart we're this close to finishing all the backgrounds that appear in the demo! The cafe is a very cute (perhaps too cute) addition to a few date scenes and the Arcade has a great retro neon vibe with an amazing carpet. The stockroom is the setting for one of Margaret's first big transformations and when it comes to the alley, here's Heart to give her thoughts on its general vibe:

Mobile UI Tweaks - A Few Improvements

Last month we debuted a whole new interface for the Android version of the game, but we're still not done making improvements. We've moved the menu button to the bottom of the screen so it obstructs less of the art, made the buttons bigger and more legible, and simplified the Load and Save screens. That leaves us with just a few improvements to some of the Extras features before the game has a totally distinct interface for mobile users!  

Unfortunately, we had to remove the auto play functionality to make everything fit at the moment, but we hope to find a way to fit that back in in the next update. We're sorry if the removal affects the way you play and we hope to get right on finding a way to implement it again.  

There's also the usual smattering of art, writing, sound, and programing tweaks. We'll see you next month with more development and an opportunity for patrons to see themselves in the game in a fun way!
